Postilaitoksemme suuressa armeliaisuudessaan eli voiton maksimoinnissaan on sallinut jakaa perjantaina, yhtenä niistä kolmesta viikon jakelupäivästä, kirje- ja korttipostia. Odotukset ovat korkealla. Kyseessä on Postcrossing-harrastajan merkkipäivä, maailmalta saattaa tulla viestejä.
Our postal service, in its great mercy, i.e., profit maximization, has allowed the delivery of letters and postcards on Friday, one of the three delivery days of the week. Expectations are high. It is a Postcrossing enthusiast's anniversary, messages may arrive from around the world.

Ihan mukavaa ajankulua, jos saa yhden tai kaksi kerrallaan. Oltuamme kolme viikkoa poissa kotoa, sain 16 korttia, vaimo sai kahdeksan. Meni kolme päivää korttien rekisteröintiin, siis ilmoituksiin, että vastaanotettu on, sekä niiden postauksiin blogiin.
It's a nice way to pass the time, if you get one or two at a time. After three weeks away from home, I got 16 cards, my wife got eight. It took three days to register the cards, i.e. to notify them that they had been received, and to post them on the blog.
Iltapäivällä selviää, kuinka meidän tänään käy!
